Driveway - Glencoe, IL
On this particular driveway in Glencoe IL, we had an existing dry stack retaining wall that was aged and out of line. In order for the soldier border to have been laid straight the wall was removed, restacked and had permeable landscape fabric behind the wall to keep soil from passing through the wall. There were two existing gutter down spouts that needed water diverted. The downspout trench was dug and pipes lay on a sand bed. An assortment of fittings and pipes brought the water to the backyard.
Patio-redesign - Libertyville, IL
Believe it or not this particular patio have man made slabs as the patio surface. The ivory color Travertina from techno-bloc made the large surface area look less busy with longer joint lines.
