Complete backyard overhaul in Lake Forest, IL - new patio, walkway, steps, etc.
Lake Forest, Illinois has some beautiful homes 🏠. We’re lucky to be able to work on them, and improve their aesthetic and intrinsic value. Here’s another example of a home backyard innovation project in area code 60045. We consider this a complete backyard overhaul. With a little planning, collaboration, and shoulder, we were able to fully transform this outdoor living space in Lake Forest. It went from a small wooden outdated patio, to a large, even, useful paver patio.
As for the details, we installed new Bluestone thermal - full dimensional. We mortared stone over concrete for hot tub, added Bluestone chips in garden beds, and regraded the backyard. We particularly love the design of the space, and the flow that the Bluestone walkway and patio space create. This is no boring backyard patio, but a great value-add to the home on many levels. The inlayed Bluestone chip beds, the offset patio areas, and the entry way steps all serve a specific purpose, and do so with grace.
